Case Study — MB Styles

Nearly $10K in one week — from one campaign and one email.

MB Styles by Meredith Buchwald is a boutique fashion brand with a loyal following. We rebuilt the site to take the friction out of buying, then launched one Meta campaign and one email. The first full week brought in $9,544 in tracked sales.

The Challenge

A loyal audience — and no system to reach it.

MB Styles had what most boutiques want: customers who love the product and keep coming back. What it didn’t have was a way to turn that loyalty into consistent online sales. The website put too many steps between interest and checkout, and the people who already knew the brand weren’t being reached on a regular rhythm.

Sending more traffic to a leaky site just wastes ad budget. The fix had to start with the store itself.

Our Approach

Fix the funnel first. Then turn on the traffic.

We built both halves of the engine — a store that converts, and the campaigns that bring buyers to it — so every dollar of spend landed somewhere ready to sell.

  • →Lower-friction website: a rebuilt shopping experience with fewer steps from browsing to checkout, designed for the phone-first shopper
  • →One Meta campaign, two audiences: Warm Leads to re-engage people who already know MB Styles, and a Lookalike audience to find new customers who shop like the best ones
  • →Catalog-driven creative: product sets built around what sells — high-margin pieces, layering, and seasonal collections — so every ad shows the right product to the right shopper
  • →Email built to convert: a custom email sequence to the existing list, launched with a single promotional send
  • →Weekly optimization: a full report every week, with budget moved toward the audiences and products that are earning it

The Outcome

One week. One campaign. One email.

In the first full week, the two channels together drove $9,544 in tracked sales across 69 orders.

  • →Facebook & Instagram: $457 in ad spend turned into 35 purchases worth $4,500 — a 9.84× return at $13.05 per purchase, more than three times the 2.7× break-even
  • →Warm audiences paid off: people who already knew MB Styles drove 26 purchases at a 15× return, while the Lookalike audience brought in 9 brand-new customers at 5.4×
  • →One email, $5,044: a single send drove 34 orders at a $148 average — with a 47% open rate and 17% of clickers going on to buy

And week one is the baseline, not the ceiling. With a store that converts and an audience this engaged, the next moves are clear: shift more budget toward warm audiences, give the breakout Layering collection its own budget, and scale spend behind a proven return.
